Few activities pay such great dividends as meditation. Meditation gives us access to actively participate in life instead of treating it as an afterthought. In meditation we receive healing in our minds and hearts. We also receive great wisdom. Most of the great thought leaders attribute their success to the time that they spend meditating. If this is the case, then why do so few of us actually do it? I suspect that meditation gets lumped in the same categories of exercise, self-care and even vacation. The squeaky wheel gets the oil in the tyranny of the urgent. Maybe you don't know how to start, or perhaps you've started only to become bored and give up.
